The game reserve
More than 600 hectares of the Sismano estate are fenced and are dedicated to hunting. There are different kinds of game throughout the year: hunting at Sismano's will always fit your special needs.
Green hills, vast spaces and an unspeakable silence makes the hunter go back in time, immersed in the wilderness, getting the feeling of hunting the way it should have been centuries ago.
The traditional hunting season lasts from September to January, when game birds such as pheasants, woodcocks and partridges can be shot at. From October to March we can set up private wild boar hunts (For groups not inferior to 10 guns). Fallow deer and roe deer can be seen, lying in wait with the help of our skilled game warden. Duck shooting is a time-honored activity in the area of our little lake of Cinella. At Sismano's, from March to August, you can train your gundogs for game hunting. In a special fenced area, we also train hounds for wild boar hunting. After a rewarding morning in the woods, nothing could be better than a good meal at the Restaurant "I Due Papi".
